The Service
The aspiration for a better world is a driving force shared by many committed to social change. At Commune in Color, we believe that working for a better tomorrow is a sacred purpose that calls for faith, resilience, and a deep sense of hope. With this, this work can be demanding and exhausting for those who lead it, often resulting in burnout, grief, and overall fatigue, impacting both personal and professional feelings and communities.
Commune In Color’s "Heaven on Earth" program offers a unique blend of wellness practices and professional support for leaders and communities advancing social change. This program is crafted for those in various fields—religious leaders, human service professionals, DEI practitioners, and community organizers—who navigate the complexities of transformative inclusion work.
Our offerings include personalized 1:1 and small-group sessions focusing on four core themes essential to inclusive wellness: personal identity, communal diversity, restorative practice, and power dynamics. In addition, participants engage in holistic wellness practices, including breath work, meditation, and mindfulness exercises, etc designed to restore personal balance, increase social change work sustainability, and to foster ongoing resilience.
